Phase 1: Services requirements and definition

Objectives:

  • Collecting the users requirements, defining the service technical specifications and algorithms’ development.

Deliverables foreseen at the end of the phase:

  • Users requirements document.
  • Technical specifications document.
  • Services architecture document.
  • Algorithms description document.
  • Principle Investigator proposal submitted to DLR (TerraSAR-X) or CSA (Radarsat-2).
  • Document with the description of the test site and cross-validation GPS references.
  • A set of test cases and harnesses used to test each software routine.

Phase duration: month 0-6 of the project.


Phase 2: Service processing chains preliminary design

Objectives:

  • To develop preoperational service, to streamline the developed algorithms and to process dataset.

Deliverables foreseen at the end of the phase:

  • Preoperational CIMS, SIMS and SMMS.
  • TOPSAR simulation algorithm and results.
  • Preliminary products: ground deformation maps and radar targets deformation profiles.
  • TOPSAR coregistration.

Phase duration: month 7-18 of the project.


Phase 3: Prototype services implementation

Objectives:

  • To refine the products and to develop and implement the prototype services.

Deliverables foreseen at the end of the phase:

  • Natural hazards and seismic scenarios for Cernavoda zone.
  • PSI two dimensional deformation profiles.
  • TOPSAR resampling algorithm.

Phase duration: month 9-30 of the project.


Phase 4: Prototype services validation and demonstration

Obiectives:

  • To validate the prototype services, to integrate the users’ feedback and to train the users.

Deliverables foreseen at the end of the phase:

  • Refined products (v1).
  • A refined structural stability model for Cernavoda NPP.
  • Information on different kinds of soil deformations (v1).
  • SENTINEL-1 interferogram and statistical analysis of the coregistration accuracy.

Phase duration: month 31-36 of the project.

 


Phase 5: Final validation, training, dissemination

Obiectives:

  • Final validation of the prototype services.

Deliverables foreseen at the end of the phase:

  • Prototype services CIMS, SIMS and SMMS.
  • Refined products (v2).
  • Information on different kinds of soil deformations (v2).
  • Validation documentation.
  • Training materials.

Phase duration: month 37-48 of the project.
